another hong kong dish that does have cross-over between the european region of the world is another chachanteng classic: borscht soup. hong kong of course does its more "clear soup" version of the originally ukranian/russian/polish/eastern european soup but because of hk being such a melting pot of cultures due to its historic past as port east-meets-west port down (*cough* colonialism), a lot of the classic chachanteng dishes especially are very much informed by other cultures' foods. you could say the same for the brisket curry you've eaten as its the hk version of more south/south-east asian curries!

It's funny to hear Amy mentioned that restaruant in Hong Kong because I know too well about this place. It is call Australia Dairy Company and it's famous for the bad staffs' attitude. However, there are still tons of people will go there and eat everyday. You'll always see a line outside the restaurant especially during breakfast time and lunch time and it became pretty much a tourist attraction over the years. A must go restaurant in a lot of Hong Kong tourist guides. Sometimes you'll see a line of 40-50 people outside. And most of the people who eat there would spend no more than around 15-20 minutes from the second you walked in there to the second you walked out. Cause the staff will kind of start pushing you to get up and leave as soon as you're done eating and finished you drink. There is no chance if you just want to sit and chat with your friends a little bit after meal. The restaurant is always packed but the turnover rate for tables is so quick and you should already know why. This restaurant has been opened for 54 years(same age as me). I go there to have breakfast pretty much once a week cause I only work couple of blocks(2 mins walk) from the restaurant. I just love their scramble eggs and toasts(their specialties). But it definately not a place for vloggers.😂

woow, I have no idea Australia have Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng, and the food are very authentic except the spam/egg sandwich. It's too big ... Oh yes, dad should be worry about his diet. Those are not exactly healthy food and you guys order way too many ...
